Artisanal pottery workshop

In a small village in the north of the island, Salil teaches you how to make ‘’diyas’’, those small earthen lamps that are filled with oil and in which we light a wick on the occasion of the Divali festival.

At the heart of his workshop, surrounded by hundreds of earthen wares that awaits to be cooked in the artisanal oven, Salil will guide you on how to hand-make, your own ‘’Diyas’’, according to techniques that were transmitted in his family since generations.
